A1-sized newspaper displaying 23 Barcelona-based graphic designers, industrial designers, and design studios. Showing their work as well as a description of who they are and their achievements.
The cover is based on the flor de Barcelona panot a flower tile that covers many sidewalks in Barcelona. It was created by Josep Puig i Cadafalch and has become a symbol for Barcelona. The cover of the newspaper can only be revealed if the newspaper is fully unfolded.
I created compact spreads that have defined spaces for each artist. While also balancing the different styles and colors of artwork.
The original objective of the project was a bounded book with all 23 artists. I payed homage to that by deconstructing the book format, putting the index on the outside and the cover on the inside.
